Folks,

Make sure that you check the calendar for upcoming events!  I've just gotten off the phone with Nori @ ColumnIT, and she will be entering in the events that Column is sponsoring.  We all agree that it is important for us, as a community, to have access (in a centralized location) to a listing of these events.

Keep in mind that just because an event is sponsored by one vendor (BMC Partner) or another, it does not mean that that event will be a continuous sales pitch for that vendor.  I recently had the opportunity to attend the North Central RUG's last meeting, and though it was sponsored by ColumnIT, there were several BMC Partners in attendance and I do not believe that there were any "conflicts".    It was all really about sharing our experiences, knowledge, and yes, making ourselves available to the community.  It worked well, I thought.

Anyway, thank you, Nori, and all other LRUG leaders out there for the time you take to make the community stronger!
