Finally, some back relief! PDF Print E-mail

Okay, I've given it three weeks, and I do have to say, buying a Herman Miller Mirra chair for my home office (I work out of the house) has made a HUGE improvement in how my back feels!  Obviously, like most of you, I work in front of the computer most of the day.  Usually, that's 6-10 hours a day sitting.  I've been doing this for several years, and I've noticed that my back has started to be more and more sore.

So, I decided that since I chose this profession (I mean, isn't Remedy FUN?!  Cool), I should invest a little bit in my health before it's too late.  After testing it out for three weeks, I can safely say, it was worth the money!

I honestly don't even notice sitting through those long meetings any more!  The Mirra allows you to adjust:

  • the lumbar support
  • the height
  • the arm rest height, angle, and width
  • the depth of the chair
  • how far it tilts (four positions, 1 forward and 3 to the rear) and the tension level (how hard/easy it is to tilt)

It's seat is mesh and the back is made up of a very cool, flexible, contoured plastic.  Did I mention that it has a 12 year warrantee?  Yup!

Do I sound like a sales pitch?  I hope so!  I can only hope that everyone else who is forced (by choice, of course!) to work long hours in front of a computer, has the opportunity to do it in a chair that will make the time fly by instead of being insufferable.

So, do your research, and when you're done, buy the chair that really makes a difference (it has for me!): the Herman Miller Mirra Chair!!!
