Job Description The successful candidate will be assigned duties related to application design, development, integration, and testing. This position will entail developing business solutions as well as supporting the Remedy infrastructure. Preference will be given to senior level candidates with 5+ years of Remedy development experience as well as ARS 7.X experience. This is a one year contract position with the possibility of contract extension or full time employment.

Responsibilities Include:

Enhancing and maintaining Remedy ITSM applications in addition to in-house developed applications from business requirements and/or technical design documents in accordance with prescribed development guidelines

Supporting the Remedy infrastructure, including performance tuning, moderately complex interactive integrations with network monitoring tools, and the installation of Remedy software/patches/applications as needed

Develop and execute unit, system, integration and user tests to ensure system performance and quality meets operational and business objectives

Creating all necessary documentation and user guides related to application enhancements and development
Qualifications 5 + years of development experience with ARS 6.X, 7.X as well as with the ITSM applications in large scale enterprise environments

5+ years UNIX operations/administration experience ideally in a Sun Solaris environment

Significant shell/Perl script development experience required

Familiarity with Solaris, Linux, Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat, New Atlanta Servlet, JavaScript, Java, and similar server-side environments is desired

Experience with LANDesk Management Suite, SMARTS InCharge, or BMC Software Patrol a plus

Strong interpersonal and communications skills and an ability to understand and articulate complex ideas and concepts in both verbal and written form
