SAIC Corporate ITS is seeking a Remedy ARS Developer in the Enterprise Application Services Division. Primary responsibilities are ARS administration and maintenance, email engine support and development of workflows that include active links, filters, escalations or notifications. Facilitation of the overall architecture, roadmap and technical approach for the Remedy implementation. The primary point-of-contact for the BMC/Remedy product vendor support.

Other responsibilities include mentoring junior team members and remote staff, performing design and code walkthroughs, and documenting Standard Operating Procedures and COTS product customization guidelines.

Will work in a team that practices excellent oral and written communication skills, prioritizes multiple assignments, and recognizes strategic visions.

Qualifications Required Skills:
8+ years’ development experience.

4 years’ experience in Remedy implementation and customization using ARS 6.3 or higher.

Implementation or configuration experience with any of the following is highly desirable: ITSP 4.0, ITSM 7.0, Asset Management 6.0, BMC Atrium CMDB 1.1, Change Management, Remedy Approval Manager, and Discovery tools such as Microsoft SMS and Altiris.

Must be able to work with non-technical customers, process owners, and SMEs to articulate vision, strategy, and architecture and to propose solutions.

Desired Skills or Certifications:
Remedy-Approved Consultant Certification
RAC Certified
BMC Remedy Migrator
ITIL Foundations certificate
System Administration for SQL Server 6.5 (Microsoft Corporation)

Additional experience in one or more programming languages or technologies such as:   SQL (preferably), JAVA, Perl, Shell Scripts, C, ASP, or COGNOS.
