Remedy AR System 7.0 and Business Objects XI Relea 1 Year, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
We are trying to get the reporting working on our new installation of Remedy Action Request System 7.0. We have installed the mid-tier on one Windows 2003 box, called RemedyDEV, and it has installed the Tomcat server on that box as well. Our Business Objects XI installation is on a second Windows 2003 box and it is running the default .NET server and we have installed the J2SDK v 1.4.2_15.

Trying to following the installation and configuration instructions from BMC have been very confusing. We had a consultant in who started to configure the reporting, but they have determined it is outside of the scope of work so we are left trying to set this up ourselves.

Basically there are a couple of questions:

1. Anyone know wha tthe connect string should look like in the report configuration on the mid-tier?

2. Do we need TomCat running on the BOXI Server?

Any other insight or information on this would be greatly appreciated!
