Crystal report: Logon failed. (ARERR 1904) 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Good Afternoon,

I'm experiencing a problem running reports in the Report console. Since upgrading to Version 7.0.01 Patch 002, I receive the following when trying to run any reports;

An error occurred while generating the Crystal report: 0x80047e48 - Logon failed. (ARERR 1904)

The reports ran fine on 6.03 patch 20.

Has anyone experienced this?

Please Help!

Thanks!

You might want to try and reconfigure your ODBC drive for AR.

hth,

I experienced the same problem --- and though I hated to do it -- and after trying everything else -- we had determined that some other new users did not experience the same problem -- we guessed that I had some sort of caching error and at the advice of my consultant, I spent some time deleting out files in the subdirectores in the c:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\AR System\HOME directory. Ugly, I know.

I wonder if you couldn't just delete all the folders. I believe they will recreate, kind of like a new user installation.
