Perrault will speak about the Email Distribution Engine (EDE), which was designed to have an easy to use front end interface and present the a user with some different search criteria possibilities.

The primary focus of EDE was to give individuals the ability to perform different searches to find a group of people and then send an email to them, similar to how a distribution list works. The difference being that a distribution list has to be maintained, where as with EDE if the data is kept up to date the list of people found in the search is always accurate. Another key concept of EDE was to allow data administrators the ability to add and remove fields and tables to be searched without making code changes.

Cahill will speak on the challenges faced during an ITSM 7.0 implementation. He will discuss strategies that work, strategies that do not work, and the importance of a project management methodology that ties with ITIL for a more successful project implementation.
