These utilities/tools were created and shared by Vincent Riedweg.

They have been tested on:

• OS : AIX 4.3, 5.1, Solaris 8, 9, Linux 2.4, 2.6

These are utilities that were previously available on Stefan's website.  He has allowed me to continue distributing them.

              ARS SQL/Log Analysis
              Analyze Remedy Log files

Purpose:
The purpose of this program is to analyze the Remedy ARS log files.  It
has the ability to determine processes and taksk that take more than 10
seconds to complete.  The load routines will handle any size of log file
including files that have embedded returns in an SQL INSERT or UPDATE
command.

This program was written using Microsoft Access 2000.

Usage:
When the MSAccess file is opened the Main Form should be displayed.  The
main form has 4 buttons on it.
   Clear Log Table:  This button will clear any existing log data from
      the Access database.
   Select Log File to Load:  The field and button are used to select what
      log file to load for analysis.
   Load Log File:  This button will load the indicated log file into the
      Access database.
   Show Queries that took > 10 seconds:  This button opens an Access query
      that displays the log entries that took more than 10 seconds to
      execute.

Note:  While the log file is being read and analyzed a status bar is
       displayed with an estimated time to finish.
